About Us The Acupuncture Center in Hurst, Texas, is an upscale clinic in the center of the DFW Metropolis since 1985. The facility has nine private treatment rooms, two waiting areas, and one working area, along with a break room and three restrooms. Our staff includes three National Board Certified and Licensed Acupuncturists, five Registered Massage Therapists as well as medical assistants, and five administrators performing filing, billing, recording along with healthcare administration, insurance coordination. About Chung-Hwei Chernly LA.c. Chung-Hwei Chernly is the first licensed Acupuncturist in Texas (AC00001). He is also a National Board Certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbologist (NCCAOM). Having graduated from the National Defense Medical School in Taiwan and then from Taipei Acupuncture School, Dr. Chernly was a pioneer of alternative and complementary medicine in the State and has been practicing acupuncture in DFW since 1985. He was appointed by the Governor of Texas to serve on the Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners (TSBAE) for two terms ending in 2013. During his tenure, he promoted the advancement of acupuncture in Texas and was recognized by the State for his exemplary service. He has been practicing in his self-owned clinic in the DFW area since 1985.

Ray Chernly is a licensed acupuncturist in Texas State, Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Diplomate in Oriental Medicine as well as a board-certified practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Shirley Wang is an advanced degree graduate of Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medical College in 1984 and was the physician in charge at Central Hospital, Shanghai, China. After her association with the Shanghai Acupuncture Clinic in San Diego, California, Dr. Wang received National Board Certification in Acupuncture (NCCAOM) in 1996 and her Texas State acupuncture license in 1997. In addition to Dr. Wang's extensive herbology, oriental medicine and acupuncture experience, she has broad knowledge of Western Medicine and speak fluent Chinese and English.
About Hsiao-Lan
Chung LA.c. Hsiao-Lan Chung is a licensed acupuncturist in Texas State, Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine, diplomate of Oriental medicine as well as a board-certified practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He has been trained by Dr.Chernly three years before he started practicing in Acupuncture Center in 2006.
